Jason Belport

Jason Belport began his diving career in 1982 after moving to San Diego from New York and receiving his SCUBA certification at the age of 12. Jason's underwater photography began in the kelp beds off of La Jolla and the Channel Islands while attending college at San Diego State University earning a degree in Pschology.
Deciding to take time off to travel after college, Jason searched the world for a job in the dive industry where he could pursue his life long love with the sea and his photography. His efforts landed him on Cayman Brac, one of the three Cayman Islands in the Western Caribbean Sea. "The Brac" as it's known, shares it's sisterhood with Little Cayman and these two very special Sister Islands are situated 90 miles east of Grand Cayman. The Cayman Islands are known for their sapphire blue water, exceptional visibility, and dramatic wall and reef diving.
