"Flamingo Tongue on Purple Fan"

 This Flamingo Tongue Shell is on its favorite food, a Purple Gorgonian Sea Fan. The entire shell is only about 1” long, but we only see half of it in this extreme macro made with a Nikonos camera rigged with a 2:1 extension tube and twin Ikelite strobes. I like Ike for their modeling lights which help in situations like this.
