A group of scuba divers discover a pristine coral reef at “Babylon”. This site, on the Northeast side of Grand Cayman, is a little remote, but worth the effort to see. But the time we reach the site, I’ve forgotten about people - this is nature’s domain. Colorful fish abound on the reef walls, which are covered in sponges of every shape and color. Two species of sea turtles are common along with reef sharks, eagle rays and horse-eye jacks.
||Jim Hellemn has made a career out of inventing ways to capture the spectacular colors and details of coral reefs. His images have appeared in National Geographic magazine, the American Museum of Natural History and are featured in several large-scale public attractions.
