"Turtle Cleaning Station"

Doug Perrine

Regular price $95.00 Sale

A Green Sea Turtle, Chelonia mydas, stretches his neck to allow access by the Yellow Tangs and Gold-Eye Surgeonfish that are grazing the algae off its skin and shell. The symbiotic relationship benefits both partners. Turtles and cleaners meet at a designated "cleaning station" on a reef in Hawaii.

Doug Perrine is widely regarded as one of the world's foremost marine wildlife photographers. His photographs have won a number of awards, including the prestigious BBC/ British Gas Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award.
