Dray van Beeck

Dray van Beeck was born in the Netherlands, where he studied and taught Art. Dray started diving in 1997 and became a dive professional in 1998, teaching diving in Malaysia, Canary Islands, Thailand, the Philippine, Egypt and Indonesia. Today, he lives with his wife Karin in Pemuteran, Bali, Indonesia, were they both work as dive center managers. Dray started underwater photography as a hobby in 2002, first using “point and shoot” underwater cameras, then upgrading to housed Dslr cameras and professional strobes and his passion for photography took hold.
Dray is proud to say that his passion for the underwater world has been rewarded with many publications and awards. His current focus combines his art background with underwater photography, creating digital compositions that merge fantasy and reality.
