Divers look down on Caribbean gray reef sharks cruising “the Amphitheater”, a curved cut in the contour of the reef walls at Bloody Bay Marine Park, forming a natural amphitheater. The sharks are a common siting here, but the pinnacle in the foreground is not normally seen from this angle. The pinnacle is very deep, hard to see from above and from a distance looks mostly black. Up close with artificial light however, it is spectacularly colored, covered with yellow, green, red and pink sponges and topped with a vivid red strawberry vase sponge.
